This is a story of a girl who took a risk and crossed the country alone in search of adventure, and herself.

Transition
These last few days have been a little crazy. I am transitioning from my position in small town Alberta to my new one in Red Deer. I only start there mid month but my lease was up May 31. This meant using my vacation and overtime to take some time off right?!? Wrong!! It meant couch surfing for two weeks until I can head home. This turn out to be an pretty good experience. I was able to spent the weekend with my Christmas family and just relax with them before they head home, then spend my week with a lovely co worker and her family. I am so thankful for everyone's generosity and making me so comfortable during this time of transition.
So thank you for all the help in this time of transition! You will never know what your generosity has meant to me.
Now to talk about a fun little adventure I had a few weekends ago while in Red Deer with Michael. We attended the cutest community theater event I have been to in a very long time. Alberta has a great program for Christian family friendly theater and they put on a play called the Fabulous Jungle Book. This story was a musical Las Vegas style interpretation of the Jungle Book. With an Elvis Shir Kahn and Comedic Baloo and more glitter than a show girl the very talented 8-18 year olds told the story in a whole new way that had children of all ages laughing awwing and dancing in their seats! This was actually a surprise from Michael, who obviously has figured out that I have mad love for theater. I had so much fun I actually sent off a resume with a friend who works with them to hopefully work on their fall production of Narnia. So fingers crossed I will be found in a local dance studio again this fall :)
I hope everyone is enjoying their spring! Mine is turning out beautifully!
Cheers!
