What a week!!!

Anyone who says government work is easy and all we do is sit around has obviously never seen my office, or the week I just lived. I wasn't even supposed to work today and I found myself at my desk until 6pm on the phone with the local police force... and sadly this was my earliest night out of the office this week. I have actually already worked enough overtime in the month of February that there aren't enough empty days left in the month for me to take the required days off. Good thing for no long weekends in March because I think I'll make a few of my own (WINNING!!!).

I have found that I am actually so busy that I don't have time to even snap a picture here or there with my new iPhone... I only took one this week and sadly it was probably of one of the most exciting events of the week. When I was passed  by a truck on my way to a visit and the  windshield exploded glass all over the dash.

Wow!!! now wasn't that exciting

I can however write about the beautiful weather that I consider normal winter weather. I have never been so excited to not have to use my car starter in the am, lunch or after work. But sadly as you can see from the picture above still no snow :'(

I hope the next two weeks in Edmonton are much more exciting, picture worthy and not nearly as exhausting as this week. Hopefully this will be my one and only late post, but no promises (life is getting a little crazy!!!)
