I may not be a "Westerner" but I do love me a good exhibition, and one of the pretty awesome things about Westerners is they L-O-V-E their Stampedes and Rodeos! Every town has one so pretty much every week or weekend there is a display of western pride within an hour's drive and a guaranteed good time. This week is my city's turn to display it's chuck wagon racing,

"YEEHA-ing" skills with what is called "Westerner Days" this means that my coworkers suddenly come to work dressed as cow people, and everyone hauls out the oh so expected stetson and cowboy boots.
We kicked off the celebrations today with a 2 hour parade, and now that it's over I wish I had thought to snap a few shots. But tomorrow I am headed to the midway with Michael's sister and children and I am hoping for a very good time... maybe even an extra long weekend to work out some of the sillies I seem to have that are really keeping my mind away from the paper work I should be doing :s
Hoping to have some Westerner Day photos for next week!
Cheers!
