December 1st has come and gone, and anyone who knows me knows that this is Christmas Tree time!! Usually I have the tree up for the Santa Clause Parade, but with moving and starting my career (FINALLY!) I haven't had much time to actually get the tree up... That is until this weekend! It is now Christmas Central here and I am very excited to say that "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Everywhere you go" :) The crazy snow and wind storm this week also added to the feeling that winter is here so stay inside and drink Egg Nog.

So I have been living in my little town now for just over a week and I am already headed back to the city. I am actually in Edmonton almost every other week until spring so I am actually going to be spending just as much if not more time there than I am in my new home. This is why it was so crucial that I spend this weekend setting up my space and putting everything that is not needed in boxes for storage. Which was a good thing because it was apparently treacherous outside due to snow and wind... It looked like a regular December day to a Maritimer like me, but I guess it was a bad one out there to the locals.
Yup, this is the kind of snow that freaks people out here...
And as promised here are some progress pictures of my room :) I still need to pick up my vanity and a few other odds and ends when I am in Edmonton in January, but this is it so far...
